Black & White Photography Project
MODEL CALL OPEN STARTING NOW UNTIL DECEMBER
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
College is over, and the long haul of an unexpected break in what I thought was a close friendship has come to it's end. My grip on reality sucks, but with the aid of some very close friends and loved ones I have managed to finally pick up the pieces of my life, and move forward. After all, I can't live my life in the past.
With that, I am announcing my new project
BLACK & WHITE MYTH
Which will only be the project's title, not the final title of the project as a whole.
These images will be in black and white, unlike previous projects of this nature.
I've decided to start from the bottom (symbolic of my life now you think, well yes, yes it is).
I've decided after much debate to take on the Greek Mythical Gods and Goddesses, and in my own strange and odd way "modernize" them. No nudes, just very very contemporary and well, let's say out of the strange in some cases. Let's face it, this is the Greek Gods after all and there are things the gods could do that no mortal could get away with because they were well .... GODS!
Inspiration comes from previous study of a photographer I learned about in college, studying his work which was shall we say straight out of a freak show. While strange, there were things that he accomplished in his photos that I would like to recreate in my own way. I'm also incorporating styles from my own work, seeing what I've done in small side projects in the past and trying to meld the two in someway to make something completely different but still have it in my own unique style.
For now, I am on the hunt for models. Preferably those in the New England and Eastern New York Area. Pay in available for those who are hired for the job, you do need to see me for an interview so I can place you in the correct role or area where I feel you will excel in. I am open to all shapes and sizes, my only request is that you be between the ages of 18 - 38 for this project.
